Privacy notice
Who we are
Mental Health Tech UK is an independent publication about digital mental health in the UK. We are the controller of the personal data described below. You can contact us at [email protected].
What we collect
When you join the briefing list, we collect:
- your email address;
- the date and time you signed up, and the wording of the consent you gave;
- the page you signed up from.
We do not ask for your name, and we do not store your IP address with your sign-up.
Why we use it, and our legal basis
We use your email address to send you briefings about UK digital mental health. Our legal basis is your consent, which you give by submitting the form.
Where it is stored
Your sign-up is stored with Cloudflare, Inc., which hosts this site, and with Brevo (Sendinblue SAS, based in France), which sends the emails. Both act as our processors. They may process data outside the UK; they rely on recognised safeguards for those transfers.
How long we keep it
Until you unsubscribe or ask us to delete it. If you unsubscribe, we keep your address on a do-not-email record, so that you are not added again by mistake. Ask us if you want that record deleted too. We do not sell or share your email address with anyone else.
Cookies
This site does not set cookies of its own and does not use advertising or tracking scripts.
Your rights
You can ask us to give you a copy of your data, correct it, or delete it, and you can withdraw your consent at any time. Every email we send has an unsubscribe link at the bottom, or you can reply with the word “unsubscribe”. To make any other request, email [email protected]. If you are unhappy with how we handle your data, you can complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office at ico.org.uk.
